Our mission, as Republicans in the Town of Hull, is to share the messages of the lofty ideals of our party with our fellow citizens, to help educate voters as to where we stand, and to thus influence elections and ultimately, help the tide of history flow towards preserving and expanding what is great about America. As Republicans we believe in limited government, fiscal restraint and an easing of the tax burden. As Republicans we believe in the importance of the state and national constitutions, recognizing that they are blueprints for a just and free society. As Republicans we understand the importance of the private enterprise system, the abilities and creativity of the American people, and the need for as many Americans as possible to have meaningful access to the economy. If there is one man who epitomizes the best of the ideals of the Republican Party, from whose example we must all learn and whose courage we may wish to emulate, and whose ideas and perspective so many of us have come to cherish, it would have to be the late Senator Barry Goldwater, who represented Arizona in the United States Senate for decades and who won the party's nomination for the Presidency in 1964.|
